At AutismService, our consulting services, workshops and intervention planning are coordinated by our principal consultant, Loredana Lembo MA, BCBA. Our team consists out of experts in their field including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, behaviour analysts and consultants, and project professionals, all of whom are drafted in for short or longer-term project timeline purposes, specific events, or for addressing unique client related scenario’s. Dott.ssa Loredana Lembo is a graduate (Summa Cum Laude) in Educational Psychology and holds an MA in Special Education, and certification in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Nearly two decades ago, Loredana started off her professional journey in the special needs sector where she worked with children with cerebral palsy, and with adults with degenerative diseases. Here she developed prowess in augmentative and alternative communication strategies, including appropriate usage of assistive technologies. This initial path, which focused on the communication, behavior, and the environment of people with learning difficulties, served as a worthy prelude to her current practice.
Throughout her years in the field, in both institutional and family settings, in Italy and abroad, dott.ssa Lembo followed a wide range of cases involving children, adolescents and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disorders. In doing so, she developed her repertoire and ensured insight for unique and diverse case-specific issues. At AutismService, Loredana is hands-on involved with all our clients’ cases, and her belief that pragmatism is a keystone for attaining sustainable success has shaped our approach. Hence, a central theme in our work is our orientation towards practical solutions that make a difference in the daily lives of our clients and their families.
